T. & S. Keane are a husband & wife writing team from the Pacific Northwest. Writing from their personal experiences in education, as well as their own many storied pasts, they draw from current events to paint their characters' stories.

Each book in the "Straight out of the Classroom" series details the unique struggles of a fifth grader in Mrs. Cavendish's class. Young adult realistic fiction, these books are meant to inform, entertain, and ultimately inspire readers of all ages.
